Evaluation for coursework: How did you attract/address your audience?

we used mise en scene and dialogue of typical teenagers in south London for e.g the clothing, the typical house, living in a block of flats, the typical language which is known as 'slang' etc. These aspects will attract our audience because they will also be able to relate to the characters and feel a sense of connection to their lifestyles.

the soundtrack we used can also attract our audience as it is a 'hip hop' beat used whilst introducing the characters of 'Rapunzelisha' and 'Dwayne'. the audience can be attracted because 'hip hop' is the typical type of music black and white teenagers might listen for entertainment. as the soundtrack is at the beginning of the film it may keep the audience interested.

our audience thougtht that our film looked very effective and use of transitions was done well. they also said that the liked the colours used and the way the shots continued after one another. It was very interesting for a short film.
